The X-Men need no introduction, they're one of the most famous comic book characters in the world, and likely the most successful creation of Marvel Comics.
The X-Men come strictly under the sci-fi genre (in my opinion superheroes in general should belong to their own genre, but there we go). There is no magic involved in the world of the X-Men (for the most part), a genetic mutation is responsible for the powers that the X-Men display.
The movie Wolverine didn't really to justice to Gambit. His introductory scene was just great, and really captured his character. Everything after that initial scene just didn't work. The cartoon Gambit, however, was pretty damn awesome.
Who is your favourite X-Man and why? If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I picked X-Men before the challenge even started, but I think only three us went with the topic.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the next spinoff movie will be on Gambit. He was a cool character.
It's a great series for exploring prujudice, and Magnito's a favorite 'villain,' cause it's understandable why he's angry.
