Still to come in 2013
So there was some pretty spectacular stuff last year, and I'm hoping to up the ante even more this year. Tomorrow, I'm a co-host for Alex J Cavanaugh's Insecure Writer's Support Group, so I'll be visiting a few of you to say hi. I'm also going to be co-hosting a blogfest pretty soon (more on this in the future) and I still have a massive TBR tower to whittle down. Add to that all the brilliant looking new fantasy movies and video games, it's going to be a hell of a year. What are you most looking forward to for this year?

You had a fab year!
ReplyDelete2013... I'm looking forward to getting back into blogging mode, writing mode and diving head first into my new job too.
Lxx
Good luck with the new job, Laura!
DeleteI generally avoid making new year's resolutions, but I'd like to keep my TBR pile under control, and be a bit more discerning when it comes to review requests. Beyond that, I just need to seize the little opportunities to write, write, write. :)
ReplyDeleteYou and me both, Bob. I have a hard time saying 'no' to requests - need to curb that a little :)
DeleteSome of my favorite movies of the year as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for helping with the IWSG.
Happy New Year and let's make it awesome!
You're welcome, Alex. Anytime :)
DeleteThree of your top five movies are on my list too (Brave, Hunger Games, Avengers). The other two probably would be if I had seen them. I'm a little behind with my movie watching...
ReplyDeleteYou've not yet seen The Hobbit? I'd recommend a viewing in the cinema :)
DeleteGreat book and movie list! And you definitely had a great year in blogging. I'm looking forward to 2013!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Alexia. It's going to be an awesome year!
DeleteGreat movie list - my favorites too! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too, Krista!
DeleteHappy New Year Jamie! I do hope 2013 is an amazing one. Congrats on all the great stuff in 2012.
ReplyDeleteBoneshaker and The Way of Kings were both on my list the years I read them. Great books. And Brave and the Hobbit were two that I really am glad I saw in the theater. Gorgeous films, really and truly gorgeous.
I can't wait to read part 2 of the way of kings, and I'm loving the rest of Priest's Clockwork century universe so far too :)
DeleteGreat lists! There was some awesome stuff in 2012. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
That there was, but 2013 will rock the socks off 2012 :)
DeleteThis was such a fun recap! I love your choices on the Top 5 lists, and it sounds like you've already got some awesome things lined up for 2013. I'm lookin' forward to jumping into my next WIP and discovering some new reads. :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Nicole! I hope you make some good headway with the WIP this year :)
DeleteHey, happy new year. Don't hate me, but I've only seen two of those movies. It was a bad year for me.
ReplyDeleteOnly 2? Then you're missing out, for sure :)
DeleteGood list. Boneshaker is high on my TBA!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend it!
DeleteStopping by from IWSG. Congrats on your 2012 accomplishments! I'll keep my eye out for your blogfest ;) *new follower*
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kimberly :) Fingers crossed it'll go ahead in the next few weeks :)
DeleteI read Way of Kings this year too, great fantasy novel.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2013!
And a happy 2013 to you too, Charmaine :)
DeleteBRAVE was one of my fave films this year too, so lush with colours and rich with charming characters to remember!
ReplyDeleteThat it was, Dezzy :) Plus it had a slightly local flavour to it (Scotland and Wales aren't that too dissimilar, so it counts :))
DeleteThanks for sharing your great moments in 2012. They're all very inspiring. Happy New Year, Jamie!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too, Joylene!
