#amreading

I'm taking a week off blogging to catch up on some much needed reading (I've got Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair to read as part of the Hodderscape Review Project, Cherie Priest's Ganymede as well as the latest installment in the Osprey Adventures Myths and Legends series, to name a few).

I'll be back on Saturday with an update on the epic A Game of Thrones catch up read, but in the meantime, here are some fun links, images and videos that I've picked up recently.

First off, don't forget to enter my giveaway to win hardback editions of Anarchy by James Treadwell, The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon and Red Moon by Benjamin Percy. The competition ends at the end of August, so enter now!

You can pre-order a scale replica of Mjolnir (Thor's Hammer) as a bookend. This is without a doubt one of the most awesome things I've seen recently.

Excited about the new series of Doctor Who? Get in the mood with Mythbusters' Adam Savage playing the theme tune on a Tesla Coil!

The guys over at J for Jetpack have the world exclusive reveal of the cover of Daniel Polansky's latest Low Town novel, She Who Waits. I recently had a proof of his drop in the post and I can't wait to read it.

... and finally, because I'm a fan of animated .gifs and I've seen a lot of Deadpool recently, I'll leave you with this little gif. Can you guess what it's about?

    1. Good luck with the writing, Susan! My book end at the moment consists of a lot more books; the shelf is completely packed out!
